Hi!

Welcome to Ancient Echoes <3

This blog is a lil creative outlet for me, and for you!

I write about women in Greek myths, in a fun and digestable way. Basically I do all the research so that you don’t have to. You can just pop along with your cup of tea and your dressing gown on, read a five minute article, and go away with some knowledge, and hopefully a smile too.

So expect words about myths, and expect them soon.

but first you need to type your email in this lil box here and press that subscribe button

Anyway.

Who?

My name is Ellie, and I’m an aspiring fiction writer currently working in a coffee shop and freelance copywriting so that I can save up enough to get back out in this big ol’ world of ours and see some more amazing things.

So far I’ve been lucky enough (and worked hard enough) to spend two months inter-railing around Europe, been to Athens to see the Acropolis and Naples to visit Pompeii, and been on a retreat in Nafplio with Natalie Haynes AND Edith Hall, so the bar is pretty high for when I set off again.

While I’m waiting to get back out there, I’m using this newsletter to siphon off all of my bottled up creative writing energy (until inspiration hits and I write a bestselling novel).

(here she is in Mycenae !! and yes that is THE Lion Gate and no I still can’t believe I went there)
